About

Bill Connell is a co-founder and managing partner of Super Genius Inc. In his 13 years at The Leo Burnett Company, he led the strategic development of integrated marketing campaigns for P&G, Philip Morris, local, national and international McDonald’s in addition to leadership of internal Agency initiatives. Leaving Leo Burnett as an SVP, he had a keen eye on creating a new Agency model, learning from the old. This Agency would embrace the ever-changing media world, the power of the Idea, as well as the uncompromising business deliverables for brands – without the explosive overhead. He partnered with Mat Burnett to make it real. **Creative mantra:** “It’s a fine line between clever and stupid.” **Words to live by:** “Genius is the art of transforming ideas in to things.”

Mat Burnett is a co-founder and managing partner of Super Genius Inc. In his prior life, Mat was also an SVP at Leo Burnett USA where he served in senior leadership roles on diverse brands, including: Procter & Gamble, U.S. Army, Morgan Stanley, GM and national and international roles on McDonald’s. **Creative mantra:** “Don’t drink the Kool-Aid.” **Words to live by:** “The man who says it cannot be done, should not interrupt the man who is doing it.”

Craig Motlong is an executive creative director at Super Genius Inc. He has a MFA in film from USC, which makes him insufferable on several topics. In a past life, Craig helped restructure Fortune 500 companies, giving him insights into how clear vision and communication can inspire businesses and their customers. His vision for Super Genius is to consistently blur the lines between art and commerce, building unforgettable work that inspires action. **Creative mantra:** “If it scares you, that means it’s working.” **Words to live by:** “The Dude abides.”
